Artist's Description

As I was painting this piece I was thinking of all the terrible things that have been occurring in this world and how downright hard life can be sometimes. Then I thanked God for His grace and mercy. He gave me new eyes so I can see the world more as He does, and He gave me a new heart so I can feel for others more like Him. He gave me an inner strength so I can stand before the darkness in this world fearlessly and still embrace His beauty that is all around me. My paintings are mere reflections of God's fingerprints- He is ever present.

This piece called "Surrender" is inspired by the following passage...
